Outplacement Support

Welcome to the Outplacement Submission Portal

By submitting your employees information below, they become a client of Detroit Hiring. They will be contacted within 24 hours of your submission to set up their first support session. 


Support Session 1

Public Benefits Navigation – We will support the client by supporting them in the application of all supportive/public benefits available to them. 

Career Planning – Our career consultants will complete an assessment of the clients interests, history, skills and talents and discuss the clients goals and objectives. 

Resume Review & Opportunity Prospecting – Our career consultants will review the clients current resume (if available) for alterations and impressions, discuss supportive vocational training opportunities and present initial employment opportunities for application. 

Support Session 2

Resume Orientation – Our career consultants will review the resume prepared by out technical writer and offer advice and suggestions on its application. 

Application Support – Our career consultants will present a compiled list of available opportunities for approval by the client, once approved the consultant and out sourcing specialists will apply and advocate on the clients behalf for the approved opportunities. 

Interview Preparation – Our career consultants will review interview best practices, present commonly asked questions and role play with the client to ensure they are prepared for the interview.
